Short answer

A Catholic in Colorado does not need a map to find a parish; there is one in every town of the Front Range and most of the mountains. What is hard to find is the room where practising Catholics of your own age are on a given evening, and that is what this page lists: the archdiocese's own young adult network in Denver and the six groups it names, a monthly candlelight Mass on South Logan Street, the campus centers at Boulder, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Grand Junction, Colorado Springs and Pueblo with their weekly schedules, the two Fraternity of St Peter parishes where the whole congregation kneels at the same Sunday Mass, the Byzantine and Maronite churches, a Theology on Tap for anyone over twenty-one in Pueblo, and the shrine on the hill above Golden.

Two of the twenty-three places on this page state an age on their own site, and the page quotes them: the Newman Chapel in Colorado Springs says eighteen to twenty-three, and Christ the King in Pueblo says over twenty-one. The rest say young adults or say nothing, and the page does not invent a number for them.

This page belongs to cana.love, which is free, made for people who want marriage rather than a match, and built on a form that asks what the person next to you at that candlelight Mass would eventually ask: how many Sundays a month you are actually at Mass, which parish, what you do about fasting, whether marriage is the aim. It is not a Catholic-only site; a section below says so plainly.

Catholics in Colorado

Start with the archdiocese, because it has done the work. The Archdiocese of Denver keeps a page called Denver Catholic Young Adults, run by its Evangelization and Family Life Ministries from the pastoral center on South Steele Street, and describes it as the hub for events and ministries in Denver and northern Colorado. It sends a monthly email listing the young adult events that parishes and apostolates are hosting, takes submissions until the twenty-fifth of each month, and names six groups and activities on its front page: Vigil Praise at the seminary, Creatio, Catholic Sports, Candlelight at Our Lady of Lourdes, Candlelight at Light of the World, and Christ in the City. That list is the spine of the Denver half of this page.

The parishes on that list are ordinary parishes with one evening set aside. Our Lady of Lourdes on South Logan Street holds a candlelight Mass every third Thursday of the month at seven, with confession and adoration from six, outdoors in the grotto in summer and inside the church from late fall, and its own page says who it is for: people looking to build community or make new friends, especially if you are new to Colorado. Light of the World in Littleton is named for the same kind of evening; its events page did not answer on the day this was written, so the schedule is the archdiocese's monthly email, not this page.

SixColorado campuses where FOCUS places missionaries, by its own list

From the places' own pages, opened 20 September 2026; the only two age ranges stated on any of them

The campuses are where the numbers are. The Fellowship of Catholic University Students places missionaries at six Colorado campuses by its own list, the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado State in Fort Collins, the School of Mines in Golden, the University of Denver, Northern Colorado in Greeley and Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, and each of those campuses has a Catholic center with a street address, a chaplain and a weekly rhythm. The one in Grand Junction publishes its week on the Newman Connection directory: men's and women's night on Monday at seven, adoration and confession on Thursday at six with Mass at seven, and something every Friday at seven. The one in Fort Collins says it welcomes not only Colorado State students but Front Range Community College students and other college-aged young adults of the city. Those centers are for students first; a graduate two years out is on the edge of them, and the page says so where it matters.

The south is a different situation. The Diocese of Colorado Springs' website was offline when this page was written, replaced by a notice about a security breach and a flipbook directory, so its young adult office could not be read; what stands on this page for Colorado Springs is the Newman Chapel and Catholic Student Center on Stanton Road, which describes itself as a spiritual resource for young adults eighteen to twenty-three in the diocese whether enrolled as students or not, and the Fraternity of St Peter's parish of the Immaculate Conception in Security. Pueblo has a diocese whose site lists parishes on a map without a young adult page, and one parish, Christ the King in Belmont, whose site names a Theology on Tap for young adults over twenty-one and the Pack Catholic ministry at Colorado State University Pueblo.

Two Eastern Catholic churches and two Latin Mass parishes complete the map, and they are on this page because they come up in the same forum threads in which Catholic singles ask where people their age are: a sung Latin Mass or a Byzantine Divine Liturgy is a Sunday where the congregation is the community, and the coffee after it is where names are learned. Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Littleton, served by the Fraternity of St Peter, has five Masses every Sunday, one of them sung, and adoration on Thursday evenings; the Immaculate Conception in Security says on its own page that it serves local and military families in English and Spanish and that its people began in the 1980s as a group from St Mary's Cathedral in Colorado Springs. Holy Protection of the Mother of God on South Elizabeth Street in Denver is Byzantine Catholic, under the Eparchy of Phoenix, with a mission in Fort Collins; St Rafka on Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood is Maronite.

Where the community gathers

Colorado's practising Catholic singles gather in five places: Denver with its suburbs and Golden, Boulder County, the college towns of the north, Colorado Springs and Pueblo in the south, and the Western Slope.

Denver, its suburbs and Golden

Denver and its suburbs hold twelve of the twenty-three places on this page: the archdiocesan young adult network and the cathedral on Logan Street, the candlelight Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes and its sister evening at Light of the World in Littleton, Creatio's office on Fox Street, the Byzantine church on South Elizabeth Street and the Maronite one in Lakewood, the Fraternity of St Peter's parish on South Hickory Street in Littleton, the Catholic houses at the University of Denver and on the Auraria campus downtown, Mines Catholic in Golden, and the Mother Cabrini Shrine on its hill above Golden, twenty-five minutes west of the city on Interstate 70.

Boulder County

Boulder County is two places forty minutes up US-36: the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center on Euclid Avenue at the edge of the University of Colorado, which calls itself Buffalo Catholic, and Sacred Heart of Mary on South Boulder Road, a parish with a Traditional Latin Mass on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday at noon.

Fort Collins and Greeley

Northern Colorado is the two college towns an hour north of Denver on Interstate 25: Fort Collins, where St John XXIII University Parish stands on the west side of Colorado State's campus at Shields and University and the Byzantine mission meets on South Lemay Avenue, and Greeley, where the Catholic University Center on 19th Street is Bear Catholic for the University of Northern Colorado.

Colorado Springs and Pueblo

Colorado Springs and Pueblo are five places down Interstate 25: the Newman Chapel on Stanton Road and the diocesan office on North Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs, the Fraternity of St Peter's church on Aspen Drive in Security just south of the city, and in Pueblo the diocese on North Greenwood Street and Christ the King on Horseshoe Drive.

The Western Slope

The Western Slope is one place four hours west over the passes: the Newman center on Bunting Avenue in Grand Junction, Mesa Catholic, with the fullest weekly schedule of any campus center on this page.

A schematic, not a map. Driving times as given in the text.

The Front Range is one corridor. Boulder is forty minutes from Denver on US-36; Fort Collins and Greeley are an hour north on Interstate 25; Colorado Springs is an hour and a quarter south on the same road and Security fifteen minutes beyond it; Pueblo is forty-five minutes further. A Catholic in Denver can be at the Newman Chapel in Colorado Springs or the campus parish in Fort Collins for an evening event and home the same night, and people do it.

Golden is the exception inside the Denver area: the Mines campus and the Cabrini Shrine are twenty-five minutes west on Interstate 70, and the shrine is a place people drive to on a Saturday rather than pass on a weekday. The Western Slope is the real distance: Grand Junction is four hours from Denver over two passes, and the Newman center there is its own world, not a suburb of anything.

The Catholic year in Colorado

Monthly

Third Thursdays

The candlelight Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes falls on the third Thursday of every month at seven, confession and adoration from six; it is the one fixed evening on this page that a stranger can walk into without being a student anywhere.

Sundays

Sundays

The sung Mass at 11 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and at 11 at the Immaculate Conception in Security, the 12:30 Latin Mass at Sacred Heart of Mary in Boulder and the 11:30 at St John XXIII in Fort Collins, and the Divine Liturgy at Holy Protection: the Sundays when the congregation is the community, and the coffee after is where names are learned.

School year

The school year

The campus centers keep their schedules from late August to May: Grand Junction's Monday night and Thursday adoration, Greeley's Sunday dinner, Boulder's welcome-back Mass in the first week; the summer is when they are quietest and the parishes fullest.

Seasons

League seasons

Catholic Sports runs coed leagues in Denver, Colorado Springs and northern Colorado, a six-game season and an end-of-season tournament each, and says of itself that it is usually eighteen and over, not just for Catholics and not just for singles; it has no street address, so it is here rather than on the map.

Year-round

Pilgrimage season

Creatio's pilgrimages, the Camino, the Via Benedetto and Chimayó, are the year's long trips, and the Mother Cabrini Shrine's retreats are the short ones; a pilgrimage is where a group from one parish meets a group from another.

Monthly

The monthly email

The archdiocese's young adult network publishes its list of the coming month's events once a month, with submissions closing on the twenty-fifth; whatever this page cannot know about next month, that email does.

Dating as a practising Catholic in Colorado

Every group on this page draws its own line, at twenty-three, at twenty-one, at student or not, and none of them can tell you what the person across the table believes. The cana.love form was written to say that, and it says it in four questions.

Sundays a month, as a question

How often you attend church services is a question on the form, with five answers from every Sunday to rarely, and you decide who sees your answer; it is the question Catholics on their own forums say they wish they could ask first, and here everyone you see has already answered it.

Your parish, in your own words

Which parish you attend is a free-text question, and so is what the meaning of life is for you and what you do for a living; a Catholic in Littleton who writes Our Lady of Mount Carmel has said more in three words than a photograph can.

Fasting, Scripture and faith itself

Your attitude to fasting, from strict to learning, and how often you read Scripture stand on the form beside the question of faith itself, where Catholic is one of the answers, alongside Orthodox Christian, Protestant and others; the list of Orthodox jurisdictions further down is for Orthodox members and a Catholic leaves it blank.

One purpose, free, checked

The purpose of registration has one answer, looking for marriage, and the site around it is built the same way: no subscription and no paid tier, every profile and photograph checked before it is visible with anything doubtful going to a person, a permanent ban for anyone who asks another member for money, and sign-in by a one-time link to your email with no password to keep.

What cana.love is and is not

cana.love is not a Catholic-only platform.

Orthodox Christians, Protestants and people of no confession who want the same kind of marriage are members too, and whom each member sees is set by that member's own filters. In a state where the archdiocese's own young adult page welcomes people just entering the Church, a narrower promise would be false. What the site promises is exact: faith, practice and intention are questions on the form, and everyone you meet has answered them, as you did. The company behind it is Cana SpA of Santiago, Chile; the About page says the rest.

Meeting safely

  • The first meeting is in public, a candlelight Mass and the coffee after it being about as public as Denver gets, with a friend told where you are; the conversation stays on the site until you decide otherwise.
  • No one you have not met in person gets money from you, and on cana.love the asking is grounds for a report and the asker is removed for good.

The guidelines page explains reviews, reports and appeals.

Common questions

Is cana.love available in Colorado?

It is: adults join from anywhere, Colorado included, and there is nothing to install, because the site opens in the browser of a phone or a computer, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German or Russian.

I am over 35. Is there anything on this page for me?

Less than there should be, and the page does not pretend otherwise. The campus centers are for students, the Newman Chapel in Colorado Springs says eighteen to twenty-three, and no diocese in Colorado publishes a group for people over thirty-five that this page could find. What has no age ceiling is on the page too: the candlelight Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes, the Latin Mass and Byzantine parishes, Catholic Sports, Creatio's open-enrollment pilgrimages and the shrine's retreats.

The young adult group takes people up to a certain age. Then what?

Then the parish, which never ages anyone out, and the things on this page that a parish or an apostolate runs without a ceiling; and a profile on cana.love, where the question is not how old you are but how many Sundays a month you are at Mass.

Where is the Traditional Latin Mass in Colorado?

At the two parishes of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Littleton and the Immaculate Conception in Security, every day of the week; and on Sundays at Sacred Heart of Mary in Boulder at 12:30 and at St John XXIII in Fort Collins at 11:30. A third listed church in Colorado Springs could not be reached and is not on the page.

Are there Eastern Catholic parishes in Colorado?

Two on this page: Holy Protection of the Mother of God in Denver, Byzantine, under the Eparchy of Phoenix, with a mission in Fort Collins; and St Rafka in Lakewood, Maronite. Both are in full communion with Rome, and a Latin-rite Catholic may marry in either.

Which groups say what age they are for?

Two: the Newman Chapel in Colorado Springs, eighteen to twenty-three, and the Theology on Tap at Christ the King in Pueblo, over twenty-one. The archdiocese's network and the two candlelight parishes say young adults without a number, and this page quotes them exactly rather than guessing.

How far should I search in Colorado?

The Front Range as one region if you will drive an hour: Fort Collins to Colorado Springs is two and a half hours end to end, and an evening event in either is a return trip from Denver. Grand Junction and the mountains are their own regions; say on your profile whether you would drive over a pass.

Where can I find every Catholic parish in Colorado?

The Archdiocese of Denver's site for the north, the Diocese of Pueblo's parish map and PDF for the south, and the Diocese of Colorado Springs' flipbook directory while its website is being rebuilt; this page lists meeting places, not parishes, and says so.

Next steps

Go to the third Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes, or to the sung Mass in Littleton, or to whichever campus center is yours, and stay for the coffee. Then, if you would rather know how often someone is at Mass before you know their face, create a profile on cana.love: it is free, and the form asks the questions this page cannot.
